About Zulma Guillot
Zulma Guillot, Founder & CEO of Plasmatrix Biotech, Inc. A few years ago, Zulma X realized there was a critical unmet need for reliable, point-of-care diagnostics for hormonal disorders carrying a specific emphasis on women's health. This realization led her to found Plasmatrix Biotech Inc., a Miami Beach, Florida startup on a mission to revolutionize diagnostics through a fast and simple-to-use testing platform providing reliable results within minutes.
Plasmatrix delivers results that can be used to predict, prevent, and monitor conditions tailored to women's needs, such as reproductive health, breast cancer, and menopause, among others. Zulma's dedication to developing a fast, reliable diagnostics platform stems from her personal experiences, entrepreneurial spirit, passion for helping others, and long-term interest in science, innovation, and global health equity. As a child, she designed and built her toys; in high school for multiple years, she participated in the Model United Nations programs and was a key representative for women's health in the human rights forums.
While attending university, Zulma applied her entrepreneurial interests and passion for innovation to healthcare, initiating her medical career in Cuba. Later, she moved to America and continued her education completing a bachelor's degree in business and healthcare administration, followed by graduate coursework in Public Health Policy and Government at Harvard University. As former Director of Galloway Anesthesia Associates with GastroHealth for Florida, Chairwoman of Azul Medical Services Anesthesia Group, and previous owner of Miami Pain Management Institute, Zulma leverages her 15+ years of executive experience and mastery of clinical oversight to lead Plasmatrix Biotech corporate strategy, enhance patient health outcomes, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.
